I am so excited to be a part of the Collaton community! I am in my second year of teaching and spent my first year in two other schools within the Academy of Character and Excellence where I learnt so much about the curriculum and ethos of the trust. I have worked within schools ever since I left school myself through TA roles and absolutely loved every minute. From this, I knew it was my passion and I wanted to continue making a positive difference to children’s lives. I completed the Early Childhood Studies degree at Plymouth University and then went on to complete a PGCE at Exeter University. I have really enjoyed my teaching experience in KS1 so far, learning different ways to create activities to engage the children in exciting ways of learning. I love teaching art and have a love for reading so believe it is very important to encourage reading for pleasure for children starting from a young age.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends, walking our dogs! I also am a football supporter and enjoy going along to matches on the weekends.
